Assassigns's Creed: Liberation changed into an action adventure and was released to be played with the PS Vita and it was launched in 2012.  Throughout the game, the player controls a woman protagonist named Avaline on her journey to free slaves in her place of origin and get revenge for her mothers death. The characters is capable of transfer among the main character's extraordinary personas as a lady, a slave and an assassin. Th game is based in 1700s Orleans based on a time period that truly happened.

The game was made just to help promote the PS vita to begin with hence why the trailer was shown on the console in the form of a walk through kind of format. When the PS3 version was released, they revealed parts that developers needed to improve. This consisted of showing gameplay and the open world. Eventually the game was released in HD for the PS3 and online XBOX servers. The game was also released alongside a soundtrack that was produced by Winifred Philips .

Futhermore, this was the first assasssins creed game to feature a female as the leading role. She is portrayed to be a strong, independent character who is able to protect herself in any situation. The game also uses stereotypical female traits such as flirting and being seductive towards men in order to gain more information or the current or next mission.
